Film editing is by far the longest hobby I've maintained. I discovered iMovie when I was around 8, and what started out as making funny faces in front of the monitor camera, turned into what you see below.
This is part two of a creative edit of footage taken from my trip to China. Editing in one style can be artistically tiring. A month of inactivity passed after finishing part one solely because I wanted to avoid making the same thing over again using different clips.
So, I decided to switch it up. The editing, mood, and music of part two turned out quite differently from part one. I attempted a more abstract and sensory route, slightly diverging from the music-driven montage of part one.
Almost all of my films, including this one, are made purely for fun and not taken very seriously.
I improv directed and shot this short in one night with my trusty iPhone SE. The footage was edited using iMovie, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. I think it turned out surprisingly well.
These short animations were done for Elevator Man using Adobe After Effects.

This is part one of a creative edit of footage taken from my trip to China. It's also my first video made entirely in Premiere Pro. Previously, all films were done in iMovie with maybe a hint of Premiere or After Effects when needed. However, for this one, I finally said my goodbyes and moved on to the more capable program.
In this film, I focused on creatively stitching multiple clips and songs together to convey the mood and feel of my trip.
